President's Message

Unite, Elevate, Innovate: Our Journey Together

Hello NAAAHR Connecticut Members,

I am honored to be a part of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources, and it fills me with pride to witness the remarkable journey that has led to the establishment of our Connecticut chapter. As we recently celebrated our three-year anniversary, I want to highlight our key priorities moving forward:

  1. Reflect, Elevate, Repeat: We are committed to looking back at our achievements, pulling ourselves up to new heights, and consistently striving for excellence.

  2. Building Strong Partnerships: We aim to forge meaningful partnerships with black-owned businesses and organizations to strengthen our community and our collective impact.

  3. Expanding Program and Professional Development Opportunities: We are dedicated to offering more programs and opportunities for professional growth and development.

  4. Creating Premier Benefits: We are working to establish premier benefits unique to our Connecticut chapter that enhance the value of your membership.

  5. Enhancing Executive Engagement: We are focused on building a stronger executive brand and fostering valuable partnerships that benefit our members.

  6. Fostering Business Relationships: We are actively developing business relationships to open new opportunities for our members and our chapter.

Our Executive Leadership Team brings together a wealth of experience, with a collective 50-plus years in various talent sectors. Rest assured, your career development and member benefits are at the forefront of our minds.

I challenge all of our members to remain engaged and actively contribute to the vision of our chapter. For those who have not yet joined us, I encourage you not to miss out on this incredible journey. Our leadership invites you to participate in our offerings, explore membership opportunities, or consider becoming a sponsor to contribute to the meaningful work of our chapter.

Remember, together, we stand. Divided we fall!

With the utmost respect,
